‘ഒരു വംശത്തെ ഉന്നതവും മറ്റൊരു വംശത്തെ നികൃഷ്ടവുമാക്കുന്ന തത്ത്വചിന്തയെ നിസ്സാരമാക്കുന്നതുവരെ എല്ലായിടത്തും യുദ്ധമാണ്. ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നു യുദ്ധം.
എല്ലാ രാജ്യത്തും ഒന്നാംകിട പൌരന്മാരും രണ്ടാംകിട പൌരന്മാരും ഇല്ലാതാകുന്നതുവരെ ഒരാളുടെ തൊലിയുടെ നിറം അയാളുടെ കണ്ണിന്റെ നിറത്തോളം പ്രാധാന്യമില്ലാതാകുന്നതുവരെ ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നു യുദ്ധം.’ - ബോബ്‌ മാര്‍ലി
